Pinkpop
Festival to
jeden z największych festiwali muzycznych organizowany w Landgraaf w Holandii.
Pierwsza edycja festiwalu miała miejsce w 1970 roku w Burgemeester Damen
Sportpark w miejscowości Geleen. Pinkpop to jeden z najdłużej istniejących
festiwali, który podczas 44 edycji zgromadził ponad 2 milionową publiczność.
Prekursorem
festiwalu była impreza o nazwie Pinknick zorganizowana w 1969 roku, która miała
charakter pikniku. Organizator dostarczył publiczności darmowe jabłka, a pomysł
ten został przeniesiony na powstały w późniejszych latach Pinkpop Festival.
