Hurricane Festival to festiwal muzyczny odbywający się od 1973 roku  w Scheeßel, niedaleko Bremen, w Niemczech. W tym samym czasie w południowej części Niemiec organizowany jest bliźniaczy festiwal Southside Festival mający zazwyczaj taki sam skład z kilkoma wyjątkami.

Pierwsza edycja festiwalu odbyła się w 1973 roku w Scheeßel, miejscowości w której Hurricane gości do dziś.

Kolejna impreza odbyła się w 1977 roku pod nazwą First Rider Open Air i zakończyła się finansową katastrofą z powodu zniszczeń jakich dokonali fani w wyniku zamieszek, które wybuchły po ogłoszeniu informacji, że tylko 5 z zapowiadanych 23 zespołów wystąpi podczas imprezy.

W 1997 roku impreza powróciła do  Scheeßel w formie festiwalu Hurricane, który cieszy się ogromnym zainteresowaniem wśród fanów muzyki.
